Why Teslas autopilot can't see a stopped firetruck

So it's not that it "can't see it", its really more that it intentionally ignores it, and assumes that the "driver" is still "driving" so that they don't run into something as obvious as a firetruck. Or guardrail. Or concrete median. Or any other number of stationary things that are found feet or inches away from the path of travel. Makes sense.

So since it runs on radar, could you use some type of radar jammer or manipulator to slow down these cars?

Don't miss out on all his shenanigans ...

1. make 20,000 flamethrowers
2. sell out in about 4 days
3. profit! (at $500 a pop, that's 10 million bucks in sales in 4 days)

I saw that one on the news feed with the flame throwers...At first I was like WTF??? which quickly faded to "well, he is a businessman, and is quite intelligent..." I suppose that's how the rich get richer!

The x15 flamethrower looks superior to Tesla's all day, but it's triple the price.

Looking through the car in front of you to the traffic ahead is a skill many drivers don't have.

I'm sure that's going to be difficult to program for.

So is a t1000 like a t-Rex? Don't move.
Watch it unfold every day on the interstate. This afternoon, as a matter of fact, I saw brake lights 1/4-1/2 mile ahead. I went ahead and let off the gas a few seconds later, the brakelight chain is making it's way back to me, and about 45 cars ahead, I see an Eclipse dart to the emergency lane to avoid the car in front of him that was now slamming on the brakes. Meanwhile I'm gently on the brakes, slowly absorbing that following distance, thinking to myself "what the hell is wrong with people!?!?"

I don't buy into the whole Tesla/Musk fandom.

There is no secret sauce at Tesla.
