why would you make a jeep look so ugly? or is it still a jeep?

I can tell you exactly how this happened.
2 guys sitting around drinking beer.

Guy 1, "Man, I've got this Wagoneer w/ a shot body but the drivetrain is good. What will I do with it."
Guy 2, "Yeah, well, I've got this cool little Del Sol, but the motor is shot, can't find anybody that wants it.
Guy one, "Haha, pass me a beer...We should drop that Del Sol on the Wagy chassis... yeah I said pass me a beer..."
Guy Two, "Hm.... what the hell..."

I would drive it......

straight into a lake...

Thats my old wagoneer I had sitting in the yard. The guy (Chris) must not be going to finish it.
He builds import racers and this was going to be his rig to ride with us. Thats why it has a Honda body. The chassis is in good shape.
It hurt my feelings too but my last yard ornament left with the wifes blessing.
Just a little background on him. A good guy who can build a hell of a rice racer.

lol...stick to what ya know. If he promises to not build another 4x4, i'll promise to not build a honda.

cool concept....too many beers. now...and astro van body, or a caprice wagon. or even an el camino or ranchero!

The waggy body couldn't have been, in any way, bad enough to make it deserve that. He may be able to build a nice ricer, but he should stay away from anything with live axles and a real transfer case. Now, if the frame was covered at least partly by the rockers, and the wheelwells centered over the tires, making it appear as a CLEAN body conversion, I would give him respect for putting that much work into something. Even though it would still be a waste of a Waggy. I've seen one camaro, on a tube chassis, with f/r solid axles and 38's that looked nice. Other than that MOST "crucks, or trars" should be burned, blown up, and buried.

And thats sayin a lot coming from ricky.

my uncle did this with a mg but i dont know what kind of chassis it has i think he sold it to southern offroad specialists in GA

I have only seen this type of mod pulled off, twice. 1st one was a 67stang body on a full size bronco frame. Not great, but OK. second one was a 70'' 'cuda body on a full sized dodge pickup frame. This one was very cool looking, & wheeled nicely. Also saw A dodge K-car S/W body on a dodge truck frame, even the frame mounted shovel, didn't help!

I did that to a 72 pinto and a 73 bronco once ... I drove that beast for 10 years and then sold it. The guy I sold it to still has it I'll have to go get pics of it LOL

needs a sick body kit and carbon fiber hood
