The problem: our iphones (5 & 5s) are extremely slow when we try to surf the web on our home wifi network. Sometimes you can't get it to load a page at all. We don't have that problem when we are on other wifi networks, or on 4G. Our laptops, daughter's ipad, and blu-ray player with Netflix do not have that problem.
I've updated software on my phone, the wife's phone is still running the older version.
I am also getting ready to add a wifi security camera on the front porch.
My question is two part:
1. Do we have too many things connected to our wireless router?
2. Can I add a second wireless router to help, having some devices on router 1 and some on router 2?

No. Your router can support several dozen devices simultaneously.

Wasn't there a bug with the iPhone 5 having problems on wifi? Maybe a problem with certain encryption standards?

I just went through this had to change from (WPA ) security to (wep) no body could explain it you could also just make it a open network and see what happens just to see if that's your problem

^^^^ want his password too??? Lol

Wondering if you have looked to see if there are firmware updates available for your router? I updated mine a while ago and noticed a little less lag on page loading.
