Wild Blue

When Leslie and I were seperated she got tired of dial up. She ordered the system from wild blue. Took several times for guy to come out for the "free" install. When he got there he informed her that they didn't do installs on double wides????? Nothing was ever said about it. Then he agreed to do it, but she had to buy a pole from them. At the whopping price of $150.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soooo needless to say, she returned all the equipment and got a full refund.

Welcome to the 21st century !!!

i used to install it...

if you have a proper installation by a tech who actually knows what they are doing and has a good meter to tune the dish with then it works great....

if the tech does a crappy job of putting the pole in the ground or uses mediocre cable and fittings then expect more headaches than mike vick's pitbulls

the reason they wouldn't mount it on the doublewide is b/c it's a pretty heavy wind magnet more or less. i would NEVER install that dish on a mobile home or any "older" home unless i knew without a doubt in my mind that the roof or wall wouldn't deflect AT ALL when the dish was subjected to high winds. the same can happen with a pole mount though due to different soils in different areas. I'd put 300 +/- lbs of concrete in the ground at the bottom of any pole i buried... no chance of that ever moving!

-Erik <--- would probably charge about $150... but you would get your money's worth
