only time will tell. looks to be more concerned about strip mining then what we do..

It is still the same mountains. If mining takes over, then the trails will become mining roads.

the trails are mining roads, that's why most of them are there now.
Spend a little time in Evarts and it is apparent that if coal left town the town would close down.
Everyone there either works for the coal company or works in a customer service business that services coal workers.
Last month I was told by 3 highly respected local political leader types that the Black Mountain OHV has a 25 year guaranteed access contract with full state support and backing

I've heard that same thing about the 25 year access. The only concern I have is if Black Mountain, which I think is one of the mountains we play on there, could be "preserved." That would eliminate everything... I hope not.
