Had these installed in Febuary of this year and this is what they look like now. Three of the inner teeth broke off during the break in period. I noticed those when I changed the fluid at 500 miles after the install. I called the installer and let him know. He said to bring it back if I wanted or see if they got any worse. The rest have broken within the last 5 months. I can't feel any vibration but am wondering if these would last while wheeling Callalantee for a couple of days.

If your driving the dirt roads in 4x4 probably be ok, I wouldn't try to bounce up the waterfall though. Looks like the backlash wasn't set correctly, could be wrong.

That's kinda what I was thinking. The yoke on the rear was loose awhile back, enough so that it was actually moving up and down. I retorqued it and have still had no vibrations. Only reason I even noticed it was because I was going to replace a part on my arb. Probably a good thing I guess. Well I reckon I will take a day off work and head back up to Raliegh.

Dude! It's not just a question, of when will the gear strip; It's all those little pieces getting into every thing else, including the ARB!
You like to spend lots of money? I got some Good used gear oil, for sale!:shaking:

I would run it? I would just stay close to a buddy who could strap me back to the trailer  No use in missing a great weekend over a couple(few) missing teeth.

Love me some east coast gear. Called em and told them what happened and they said to bring it on. Can't do it till week after next but at least it will be fixed.

Did this break while wheeling ? Looks like a pretty good shock load to blow off a few teeth at one time.

The first couple of teeth broke off during the break in period. Noticed those when I changed the fluid at 600 miles after install. May have popped another couple off this weekend and maybe they chewed those center teeth. Ryan said that they have had several issues with the Yukon gears for the jk. Lord knows I ain't easy on it but with the first couple of teeth breaking off within 600 miles I would have to say bad metal in the ring gear.

Did you look at the fronts as well - I got to thinking the centers were probably from a chunk of metal...

Junk made in India.

Brad, I've ran my D30 narrow track for six plus rides looking as bad if not worse and you know I don't baby mine. Actually did that twice. Both times I changed it before a far away ride.
This reminds me I might need to check mine again. But the way my luck's been going my ARB's will fall out when I take my cover off.
