Can I take out my center console and bucket seats in my 1992 GMC Suburban and replace it with a 60/40 split bench from a truck of the similar year?

Where could I find a cheap one?

Also, where could I get some inexpensive headers and an H-pipe for it...

Again 1992 GMC Suburban K2500 with a 350 motor.

No, it will never work. You should see if you can trade the truck for an F150 with a bench seat:flipoff2::lol:

Good idea...
Have any idea where I could get one...possibly a 302 V8 with a new 5 speed transmission, new clutch and pressure plate, new shocks, a new fuel pump and some 31" tires?
I would also prefer a straight pipe out of the cat instead of a muffler...
Nice...
You got me...
:fuck-you::lol:

If your seats are in fairly good shape I might be interested in trading with you. I have bench and would prefer to have what you have. '95 C2500.

Joel, seats are in great shape....they are power seats and they have no tear. The only issue is the driver seat. The back leans way back on the side your right shoulder sits on. Someone may know what an easy fix is for it. My seats are blue. What color are yours?

Got pics?
I can run downstairs and make pics of mine if you are truly interested.

Mine are grey. I can take pics if you want but if the seatback is problematic I don't think I would be interested.

Well, it isn't like you are flopping in the back seat or anything. I drove all the way to Myrtle beach and back comfortably. I just like sitting up pretty verticle like a bench seat forces you to do. I imagine that there is something loose in it that could easily be spotted and fixed. Anyone who knows more about them on here, please chime in...

I could live with gray...how about sending pics of yours

I'll make some of mine as well and send to you tomorrow...

Does anyone on here know anything about the seat backs on the 92 Suburban bucket seats?

Why can it sometimes have your right shoulder leaning to the back seat?

If its just one side, Id guess either the pivot pin is broke of the internal cushion support frame

I had a similar problem with my seats and it was a fairly simple fix. Just need to remove the cloth to get a good look at what is going on.

As for the seats; I know the older body style seat brackets were different. The gas tanks were under the seat on the trucks and in the rear on the blazers/burbs. I think that changed for the 92 $ up models though.
