Anyone know why the Willow Springs Mud Pit (Wake County) is not running this year?

There's an old post (search) but the pit is no longer there. PM me if you want all the details. Now nearest pit is in Sanford - First Saturday. It's set up just like Chinquipen if you ever been there. Pretty cool pit. Straight down Hwy 42 from Willow Spring will take you right to it. Look for sign after you cross Cape Fear River.
