Wilmington meet and greet

what evning could work for the meet and greet

in Wilmington there is a rice night on Tuesday nights...what would you all think of having one on at least twice a month...trying to make it in a large parking area and close to food...this could be a great way to meet the community and show off roaders are not just about getting dirty and tearing up through the woods...although that is fun:driver: let me know on here what you think and what evenings could work...

im down for a meet up but i work night mostly... i am off this saturday however.... mini meet and greet and the northend?!? ill be out there any one else down??:driver:
 
Any day is good for me, since my schedule changes every week.
 
well i would like the idea of north end but, there is a strong number of people that off road and don't know of this forum...that said...i thought it would be better where passing motorists can see us as well...but it still up the majority vote...this Saturday i'll be there two camping...look for the blc liberty w/ ohv_kj on the side hood...for those out there then...maybe we can make a better time and place???
 
i would be down for a meet every now and again,so i would be to at least one a month,i'm on the northend at least 4 out of 7 days,so i'll be there for sure,KJ i may stop and holler at you this weekend and check out the KIA JEEP-------------j/k,it does look good man
 
SO, saturday... james did you say you'll be camping? if you'll be out there friday night i might come out for a lil bit after work! but i plan to be on the beach no later than 11am saturday... i personally like to be around marker 15 but whatever's clever!! y'all hit me up, im in the big (well not really big) black zj with swampers... its pretty noticeable! :beer::popcorn::smokin:

Well, not to steal this thread away from James (BTW thanks for getting this rolling) i will say that it is looking like it will be a Thursday... most likely it'll be around 8:00 - . I am thinking the flamin' bowl (or what ever it's called), i know the 'rice night' gang uses it on Tuesday, so i will look into them letting us use it on Thursday. IF NOT does anybody have a spot they can think of were we can park and chill (no parking decks, some rigs cant use them :lol:).

I look forward to getting this going and meeting a lot of you. And now i hand the reigns back to James. Feel free to PM either one of us with an questions comments or concerns.
 
official...thursday night...8:00pm...at the fire bowl between college and shipyard...same place as rice night...any thing off road...bring your trail rig and tow it there...bring pics or things you are trying to sell...not sure on how many thursday a month...this thursday will be the first...contact me or jake if you have any questions...see you there...

will try to make it. Supposed to be leaving town for the weekend though. will try to drive the trail rig. I don't have a windshield though think the cops will give ma a hard time?

I will def try to make it too, might just come in the expedition, but i'll be there either way

EDIT: I just remembered i have concert tickets for HOB that night... I'll catch the next one
 
i dont think you need a windshield..?? we are behing the fire bowl and i eat there for the first time and it was good...so if your hungry bring some cash...there is also a mcds around the corner too
 
YES please eat at the bowl. You dont have to eat there every week, but keep it in mind for your future meal selections. And like James said it is some good stuff. It is an all-you-can-eat Mongolian style buffet, great food. and it comes out to about 11 bucks for unlimited fresh food and drink. Just be sure to at least try it out. it's the least we can do for letting us use the parking lot.
