Winch cable

Not sure where the best place for this is....not really tech so I just put in gen chit chat. Move if the wrong place.

Question - I have a warn 8274 that needs a new cable (old one is kinked and smashed in a few places so i think it probably not something to screw with). Where is the best place/price to buy new winch cable/wire rope? I need 5/16" x150' (aircraft grade I guess).

I would go with some synthetic rope. I just got a new winch with synthetic and I love it

OK, same Q then, where to buy that stuff for best price/place? Not sure I want to drop 3 bills on the rope though but I am open to at least knowing my options

3/8 x 125 AmSteel Blue is what is recommended by Custom Splice.
