hey guys its me again. i have a warn xd9000i winch on my jeep it worked fine when i was running a regular old stock battery, i bought a optima yellow top, and now about every third time i use it a solenoid goes out , anyone know why and what i can do to stop it, and does anyone have a link or something on the solenoids cause i am not rteal surehow they are sitting in the bridge i found the 12 volt constant , the in and the out i have one more i have no idea, any insight would be greatly appreciated

winch help

ok what i have done is took the winch completly appart cleaned the windings and the brushes as i had some bridging on one brush now i have spool in back but i am not gettin any signal back to the motor to spool out or across the solenoids anyone have a good way to check the solenoids to see which one is bad?causei have signal all the way across for spool in all the way to the motor but when i spool out the solenoids just click which tells me one of them are bad or maybe more

Are you using true warn solenoids? or just old ford solenoids? If your using the ford ones they from what I've been told may or maynot last to long because they are a mementary type solenoid.

so it doesn't go in or out?my winch wouldn't do anything all it was a broken ground wire(was break in the wire)when i called warn they said no way all sylonoids could have went bad same time so check grounds sure enough that what it was. if your sylonoids are clicking then may be in they motor my .02
