Winch location

I would like to put one winch in the front and one in the back of my truck eventually.

Should I put one in the front or the back first?

The back would be easier since there's no rear bumper and I want to integrate it into the hitch cross member(which I want to build sooner rather than later)

The truck is a m1028 with a flat bed.

Id put one in the front for sure.

Think about most obstacles, if you pull yourself backwards you just have to try again...
