i overpayed on a new tabor 9k winch..... the remote silenoid was already wired up and all i had to do was mount it and run the wires. i'm running a dual battery setup and i ran the positive to my main battery positive and the negative to the same battery. when i start pulling with the winch, once the line gets tight and gets somewhat high tension it makes a slight "dunk" sound and stops pulling..... i got stuck in GRASS today while fishing because i'm currently only running a locked rear and no front driveshaft. any suggestions or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated

by the way i purchased it brand new from a vendor

Glad you got back ok good luck with the winch

yeah there just so happened to be a guy in a rubicon fishing right up the road..... and he was nice enough to give me the MINOR tug i needed... thanks jeff

Check all of the cables. Once it goes under load the current draw gets much bigger. I had a problem with one of the cables on a solinoid not being tight and it was doing the same thing.
