Out of the millions of windshield repellent products on the market, which one actually works the best? I need something specifically for the inside of my TJ windshield that gets misted with water when I drive in the rain. I believe its mostly from the rear tires spraying water in the cab. The obvious option is to run upper windows but for now just trying to save myself from having to ride around with a handful of paper towels.

I swear by Rain-x. Love the stuff. However it does take a large enough bead of water for gravity to take over. Not sure how well anything will do for mist elimination.

I've always used rain-x as well. I also use the rain-x washer fluid to keep a light coat on the windshield. Not sure I'd use it on the inside, but they do make another product just for the inside you could try.

Carried one of these in my Samurai. Worked great.

Rain X. Been around for 30 years and remains unchanged for a reason. Even the anti-fog for interior is good stuff. You have to put it on PER THE DIRECTIONS THOUGH. If not you are wasting your time. Only lasts about 6 months+ though for it does eventually go away. Not the same for every vehicle either. The more the angle on the windshield, the better it works. Doesn't do too well on my old trucks that have windshields at 85 degrees.

Don't bother with RainX on the inside. I tried that before and just ended up with a film that was difficult to get off. The beading is great, but you need the wind to push the water away, and there isn't enough wind on the inside of the windshield. Your best bet is to run the defrost on hot and high to keep it dryish, but that won't work 100% either. Thats why I run full doors even when the top is off...

The Anti-Fog RainX for the inside of the windshield works quite well. My dad's old K10 had some issues with the blend doors and wouldn't switch to defrost, so instead of tearing the dash out, I used that jazz and it was much easier :D

Second on Squeegee. With out wind blowing across your inside windshield surface it's just going to bubble up. Carried a squeegee in my CJ for this purpose.

Perhaps a squeegee it is then. Another thing I thought of that may deter me from rainx or the like would be dust sticking to it, if that's even a legit concern.

IMO The best RainX is the variant that comes in a spray bottle - it's basically for washing your windhield, liek you might with Glass-X or some somethihng, but also gives a RainX treatment. Super convenient, spray, rub, wipe, rub off extra.

Also agree don't spray it on teh inside... my wife hates me right now b/c I tried it and can't get the glare film off... oops.

The concentrated rainx that you put in the washer reservoir is the best....i mix it strong as hell and its amazing. I ride around without wipers or on low when everybody is riding around with their wipers going mach 10. No input on the inside other than another vote for no rainx there, its a bad idea.
