windshield replacement with damaged frame

The runner i have was flopped and the a-pillar took some damage. Previous owner fixed a good portion of damage but its not perfect. Said it was a .5" from a windshield fitting in it. What are the odds i can put a windshield in it and "glue" it in to seal? I can't stand the lexan junk thats in it.
 
Your best bet is to remove the current windshield and pound the frame out till the seal fits. Not sure exactly what year your 4runner is but if it's got just a rubber seal just make it as strait as you can and install.
