I just bought an 88 Wrangler and the wiper blades stop at about a 2:00 angle on the windshield. I was told that on the older wranglers they " just stop where they stop". Is this right and I just need to live with them or is there an issue with the switch, which doesn't seem to be working 100 percent or????????????? This is my first jeep! Thanks!

Do they go back down to flat (like a normal car) and then come back up or do they just stop there?

You can see them in this picture. This is where they stop. Jon says if I finesse the switch I can get them to lay down. I tried... to no avail. Could it be in the switch??

It looks like the pass side one would be clear off the windshield frame if they went all the way down. My bet is that's where they are supposed to be.

Learn to live with them that's how mine set and thats how every yj will sit. By the way good lookin jeep.

If its like a CJ can take the arm off and put it back on the splined shaft a few splines back. Keep in mind the wipers only sweep a certain range, so if you move them too far to the passenger side, they may not reach over to the drivers side as much as yuo need/want. It took me a few times to find the happy medium on both wipers.

Sounds good.... She is a nice find for my first jeep! I wanted one since I was 16... bought one for my son's 16th birthday. He gets my Jetta~!I guess I will learn to live with it!:driver:

Also= that might be correct size for YJ, only know CJ. CJ, has a 10" blade; so you could get it sitting lower by using smaller blade. & adjusting the arms on the studs.

It's that Jeep thing. You're only starting to understand. LOL
