Wj front bumper suggestions.

Well, my stepmom hit a deer the other day with her new to her jeep wj. It did some damage to the hood and grill but for the most part it held up well. It had one of those chrome front brush guards on it that saved the jeep from being totaled imho. But I started showing my dad some of our style bumpers and he agrees with me that would be a good option, only problem is that they are not "pretty" enough for her. So my question is does anyone make a wj bumper that doesn't scream "extreme offroad" and still conforms to the front body lines while being strong enough to push deer out of the way at about 35 to 40 mph? It obviously doesn't need a winch mount cause I don't think she'd use it even if it had one. Just something simple and strong that is going on a stock wj. I'll get some pics of the front end damage in a minute and post em up.

The best looking WJ bumper IMO was the LSR bumper, but he's no longer producing them. Protofab would probably be my next choice.

I have to agree with both of the above posts. The LSR bumper looks great, and is what I told Chris (at MarsFab) I liked when he built mine. Here's the bumper he built me. Obviously it could be modified to not hold a winch and that would keep it from being so deep, but Chris did a fantastic job with the body lines and the build in general. If you follow the post to the original thread there's some build pics he posted up too.

Yeah I saw those today when I was showing my dad some options. His favorites were the ARB bumper and the Trail Ready bumper. Having some tube that came up to the hood and around the lights is important for maximum protection, but the area for the winch isn't necessary.

That is a really nice bumper. Honestly when I started to talk to dad about this the first thing that popped into my mind was something custom from Marsfab. :D I'll find out in a day or two which route he wants to go.
