July 12th, there will be a scrap metal drive held at East Henderson High School off Upward Rd, Hendersonville, NC.
This is a fundraiser for the Color Guard team apart of East Henderson's Marching Regiment. I was lucky enough to become their instructor last Fall and we have been striving for excellence ever since. Starting with a team of 5 I took them from last place to second place in one month. In our following season, we finished in Championships second of 11 with a team of 9!
This year, we have grown stronger but are in desperate needs of funds to support the growing team and have come up with a Scrap Metal Drive. I'm reaching out to you fellow jeepers, I know that we can glance into our garages and potentially find a broken part or some sort of scrap metal that has needed to be disposed of for quite some time, and I'm offering pick up services and/or a location to drop off scrap metal to help support a high school extra curricular activity.
