Ok, my 98 Wrangler is having a problem...When I shift into 4 Lo, it's fine. As soon as I get going, it pops out, and it only happens when I'm in 4 Lo. I have a 4.5" supsenion lift and a 3" body lift, and I know that the linkage for my 4WD is mounted to the body. So, I'm almost positive that this is what's causing the issue, but I need clarification before I go and start messing something up. Any advice on it? By the way, if it is because of the body lift putting a bind on the linkage, then how would I go about alleviating the issue? Thanks!

coudl be bc of the body lift. There use to be a kit to fix this problem. I think if u look in 4wd hardware or quadratrac you can prolly find the kit, or call them and they can tell you

ya that looks like what i was thinkin of...guess i mighta seen it from novak a long while back

take off the shifter plate cover on the tub and trim the tub out around the shifter. then reinstall the cover plate and you should be good.

Thats not going to work on a TJ, the tj's 4wd shifter is mounted to the body, you can just clearance the body around it. This would work on a YJ.

x2 on the kit form novak/quadratec/4wd hardware
