:shaking: How much fun it is getting the H1 rubber runflats into stiff, brand new, 10ply TSL SX's:shaking: . I learned a few things along the way:
1. There is no good way to do it (1 took 15 minutes from extraction to insertion, the next took 1h45min doing the EXACT same thing).
2. Armor All is better than hand soap, WD-40, or motor oil for getting these things in.
3. 2 piece runflats are MUCH easier than 1 piece, but still a PITA.
4. An engine crane is an excellent way to remove the runflat from a tire.
5. A large round piece of rubber compressed to about 1/2 its normal size contains a large amount of energy. If you have to stand all 180lbs of yourself on the ratchet lever to get another click, when you release the ratchet strap, that much force will be released over a much greater distance.

Fortunately I was able to get all 5 tires done with a total of about 5 hours of work including mounting them on the wheels and airing them up. I managed to get by with no cuts, bruises, breaks, or shatters. Im kinda proud of myself. My back and arms hurt, but they should recover. Pics of the finished product to come probably tomorrow.
