I realize that a lot of you are not NASCAR fans, but those who are, should recognize this guy!

It's all about the shirts. Yes NC4X4, He has checked out the site. He particularly liked the home page 4x4focus article about the OG14 and ECORS.

This is me making my ''I cant believe we are just dragging around this Martinsville Trophy that Darryl Waltrip gave you in 1989'' face. I was busy wondering and worrying about how to carefully move this thing, and Jeff just grabbed it and started walking it along. Look at the pendulum, it's just a swangin'.Figured I at least put my hands on it for the picture;)

A little swag for my ladies. The car was previously signed By Ryan Newman as he presented it to my daughter, at the All Star race. I brought it along for Jeff to sign.

I gave his wife your number. You'll get the call about refinishing the real hardwood soon.

This was for a sewing room upstairs.

This is common practice for gifts to be given to crew chief/co-driver after a win. I got a few shirts and a gift certificate or two but never a grandfather clock. I guess I need to find bigger names in racing to work for!

 What? You mean to tell me that a 250$ Iron Man gift cert I gave you dont compare to this clock? Come awn man..those were real cotton t shirts too. And I'll just bet Jeff Hammond never had the honor of wrecking WITH that DW like you did with this DW.

I think he said Darryl won at Martinsville 10 or 11 times. Think I'll google that.

I did some work for Dennis Setzer a couple years back, great guy. He had trophies holding doors open, it was funny.

I had to move a guitar that Honky Tonk man broke over Jeff's head in some wrestling promo. He said now that we've drug it out, he was going to take it and have a case made for it. Said he would'nt take a million dollars for it, yet it was just stuffed into a dusty closet.

Anybody ever ate at Keaton's Chicken off Cool Springs rd?

He lives a mile or two from there...no gates, nothing. Just an ordinary driveway with a double wide sharing the first 200 ft of driveway.

I was going to say..they give you a clock for every win at Martinsville and I think Darrel (no y in DW...and you call yourself a fan ) won there 12 or so times...after a while you run out of places to put $15,000 clocks....

Thats cool. Most of those guys are really down to earth once they are away from the track. Thanks to some friends that work for teams I've gotten to meet and hang out with a number of drivers the last few years. Yet to meet a single one that doesn't want to just crack a beer or 12 and shoot the shit once they are out of their cars/trucks.

I was part of a crew that was clearing land & lot for Matt Kenseth. Like so many of us, he wanted his Shop, done first! He drove out there a couple of times, with the wife & kid. Just a regular Joe!:)

Keatons is the best... We still make the haul a few times a year.

dylan is holding another mans clock. :gay: this might need to go in the garage.

on a serious note. cool pics.

They even have a sign that says ''no pictures''. Reason is..Some food magazine did a review with pictures of cooks and all, back in the early 80's. One of the cooks was also on the FBI wanted list. His pic. surfaced, he went to prison.

Sign now says NO PICTURES TAKEN!

Cools pics! I met Jeff Gordon one time about 15 years ago. Was extremely personable (much more than I would have expected) and took time to say hello, sign autographs and make small talk with myself and my father as we were the only ones there (it something like a Thursday before the Martinsville race if I recall). This was back in the old Hendrick shop before the big fancy facilities they have now. Believe it or not he was laying under the front end, turning wrenches on his front brakes/suspension or something underneath when I walked into the visitors areas.
