Worst vehicle you have ever owned?

2012 mazda 3. Ate 4 sets of tires in first 20k miles. Mazda refused to admit anything was wrong with it.
Negative camber on rear tires?
Had same problem with our mazda5. I replaced the rear LCAs w adjustable ones to save it. Very well known problem.

'86 LeBaron 4 dr hatchback. Inhereted it with my wife... her college car.
What a POS. She was on a first name basis w her mechanic in college. Cheap plastic everything that cracked and broke. No power at all. CEL would flah randomly. Constant random electrical problems. So rickety her muffler fell off, she dragfed and ran over it and barely noticed.
(Ok that last one is as much the driver as the car)
Was hapoy for the $400 we got in trade in for a Saturn.

Surprised I haven't seen more of these in the thread yet. My entire family is Ford to the bone....I wont own another. I have owned 6 trucks since this one, and enjoyed them all. They all either had a Chevy, GMC, or Dodge logo on the front grill.

05' F350 6.0

Let me run the list for you

- EGR Cooler(s)
- Turbo
- Head gaskets (x3 WITH ARP Studs)
- Warped head (thanks for not catching that the first time ford tech)
- Rear Ring and pinion
- FICM (this one left me stranded in Harlan KY)

I could probably continue with a multitude of other small problems

I knew there was a reason I liked you.

There's a "bulletproofed" 6.0 at my neighbor's house with two dead holes and only 120k. I woulda bought one 10-15 years ago, but a friend talked me out of it.

The best thing about those Super Duties is that you can just leave the keys in them. Nobody will steal it, and you can just pop the door handle off with a knife when you need to let yourself in.

Yep, they refused to acknowledge the issue even though there was a class action going on about it. I traded it for the camry she has now and never looked back.

Not really any issues just annoyed at how the 48RE shifts and lack of gears. I really should have made a better argument to the wife about getting a manual, she's the only reason I bought the auto and hardly ever drives it. Power is better than the 7.3 but nothing to write home about, I guess I'm just a little disappointed as there's a lot of hype for the Cummins bandwagon and in stock/tuned form I really don't see why. It also has the normal blend door issues, I just really don't want to pull the dash out to fix all of them, the only one that works is the temp control.
I never truly liked my 2012 ram I had because of the auto. Never could get used to it. Thats the only auto truck I ever have/will buy. Knock on wood the only issues I've had with mine that weren't self inflicted was the bed rust.

The most unreliable, but the most fun, my 49 cj3a. Found it in a junkyard, needed engine, transmission, tcase, wiring harness, brakes, drive shafts, etc. Put 5 transmissions in it over time (doesn't help buying one for $20 changing the fluid and see how long it will run). Doesn't flex off road, won't even do the speed limit, still a lot of fun to drive.

I will add one more, but never technically owned it.
My girlfriend owned a 2013 forester when I met her. She bought it new, and had problems with it since the day she bought it.
Cold start it sounded like a 300ci ford straight six. Come to find out it burned a quart of oil every 700 miles or so around here.
Subaru said it was normal, even though we had to dump a quart of oil in it every 3 hours while driven on the interstate.
This was with around 30k on it at the time.
I think the class action lawsuit is still going on with certain motors for these cars, but I talked her into selling it and buying a 4runner with 3 times the miles.

The 4runner has been perfect for over a year.

'82 berlinetta camaro….only good thing about it, is that when it DID start, it sounded REALLY nice, and the T-Top didn't leak...otherwise, it was a money pit, bought from someone who's wife told me to get rid of it or some guns..so he sold the camaro, to a sucker...my x-husband...half of the stuff didn't work, the air didn't work, the heat didn't work, the radio didn't work...the engine hardly worked...but, in a stupid way, the speedometer started blinking at you really angry when you got up to 88 miles an hour...I know it wasn't SUPPOSED to, but I still gunned it and laughed at lot, until I sold it.

- FICM (this one left me stranded in Harlan KY)

This happened.
Passed Sam on the trail
Sam:Fawkin Ford wont start. Hate this piece of shit.
Me: Just turning over wont fire at all running fine last time you turned it off?
Sam:Yep
Me:FICM
Sam: Probably so. Tow truck on the way.

Two days later

Sam(in text): Nailed it.
