Would a Transmission from a 98 grand fit a 93 grand

I beleive it would "fit" but you are going from a OBDII to an OBDI, so electronics might be a nightmare.

I'm pretty sure they are the same transmission but some of the electronics may be different.

My buddy has the same issue. He has a 98 GC and was told he needed to replace it with a 98 trannydue to computer issues. He would love to find out that info was wrong though

probably going from an RE series (98, E=electronic control) to an RH (hydraulic) - if so, probably a no go
