Would your wife be jealouse if you helped move a hot coworker for free?

I'm with McCracker, PICS! She might not even be hot, then there is an even bigger problem here... LOL!

And I think Buckeye is spot on. Give here the regular price invoice and say glad we could help.

Would you have done it for free if the coworker was haggard?

Would you have done it for free if the coworker was married?

You gave preferential treatment based on sex appeal. Its not difficult to see why a sane wife would see this as questionable.

My wife would think something was up if I was in your shoes and didn't come home with any money.

Maybe I missed it in your original post, but have you asked you wife why she was mad or just assumed/guessed at various reasons? I agree with the majority of the folks here that it is probably more to do with you doing it for free than the person being hot/single/whatever, but none of us are your wife. And if she's anything like my wife, whatever reason I think she is mad is the wrong reason lol.

you done a good deed.are you going to stop charging everyone for your services so you can keep doing good deeds? the way i see it,the hot coworker knew what she was doing and you fell for it.if you have no intention of messing around with her then why let her think you would if she offered.in my mind if it were me i would feel like she is laughing at me to her real friends.it would also seem as if i had no respect for my wife.

I don't think it's been said yet, but you're a terrible person, women have never been known to act irrationally around other women. I think there may be a passive aggressive 'slide here an invoice' approach here...maybe even an aggressive aggressive approach, telling her to step off cuz you don't do shit for free. Is this horse beat dead yet???

The way you describe the coworker, the fact you did it for free but still paid fuel and your helper out of pocket and the statement about how your coworker "has yet to even acknowledge my existence"...It's pretty apparent that you have more than a healthy interest in your coworker. It sounds to me like you're trying to creep. The whole situation is inappropriate. If the coworker had been a paying client of your business, it might be different. You did someone a "favor" expecting a reward (attention)...

Geez, how we can squeeze a pimple...

I wasn't the only person asked. I expected 3 or 4 others to be there too. Hey, we're a close knit group here, very small company and others said they were going to be there. We all eat together every day and spend more time together than our own spouses weather we like it or not. But of course after all said and done, everybody else had their excuses. I do a lot of shit for free cause that's how I'm evidentially much different than you pimple squeezers. And usually expect no returns but for the best sake of my wife, I chose to charge her. So it wasn't that much a bad thing for I was hailed a hero by the secretaries for helping. Of course that probably all changed after the invoice.

Had no idea I had stepped into a trap here while taking on some good advice... Am I the only one with a pecker on here??? Geez, maybe a tad intrigued but not like I follow her home now knowing where she lives and all.:shaking: How about the picture demanders??? Are they any creepier than me?:huggy:

Anyways, she paid up. I'm all good here and of course with my wife. I just have to salvage my creepy reputation with NC4x4 now.

So... since you're already in trouble w/ your wife, and have already paid the dues there, so to speak... might as well take that money and pocket it, set aside to do something fun for yourself. No need to tell her you actually got it :D:cool:, then you'll just lose it and all that suffering was for nothin'

Joey stayed away while you did all the work. When you finished all the work and left empty handed, Joey arrived and reaped all the rewards. Sounds like you need to change your tactics.
