Looks like the front splitter is a little high off the track, especially compared to the left lane. That's some serious aero sensitivity though. Doesn't take much at those speeds with almost no front downforce when any small bump or ripple changes the amount of flow under the car. Good thing he had wheelie bars.

Doesn't appear much different than the Merc CLRs flipping backwards at LeMans in '99.

That would have been bad if he would have lost since the front tires didn't trip the lights.

That actually happened 3 times during that event; the flip into the trees was Dumbreck's crash during the race. The other two were before the race with Webber driving (in two different cars), so in total 3 of the 4 CLRs did the exact same thing.

I wonder at what point he decided it was too late to lift?? It always amazes me how happy/chipper people are when they've just destroyed a high dollar car/buggy.
