I know what you mean. Back in July I had just paid my crew cab off, it's an 04. About a 3 weeks later I was going down the road with the a/c on high and started smelling something like an electrical fire. Great. Figures time I pay it off it's about to burn to the ground. All the gauges were fine and couldn't find out where it came from. The next day I got in it and the fan would blow on all speeds but high. I figured I could live with it. A week later I got a letter from GM about a recall for the blower switch going bad. Fixed free of charge in one day.
