At the flats the other day I saw a lot of wranglers with the windshields removed. I had a hard time seeing over the hood on some of the downhill stuff and was thinking if I had my windshield folded down I'd have that much more to look over.(wouldn't I?)
My question was how do most people (who remove their windshields) remove them.
Is the windshield a one man operation, or more of a two man deal, or one of those one man can do it but it's a pita, find a buddy to help?
I found these http://www.jeepglass.com/images/hingepins2.jpg
and the company says cut one end of the hinge pin off and beat the pin out from the other side and replace, while the hinges are still on, but have read lots of conflicting stories in forums on these kind of pins for TJs.
This is my DD and when I had my flop the windshield/windshield frame took all/most of the damage. Now that I'm caged up, remove the windshield, one LESS thing to worry about.

- Top hinge bolts.
- Bottom hinge bolts.
- rigged the hinge pins.
