Just for the record, the dude that plasti dipped his jeep where I work at now has permanent wax marks where he took it back off within 6 months of putting it on there. Looked just wore for it's age before the plasti. Then looked pretty damn good for about 3 months before it started peeling like crazy. Now it looks like total hell... He bragged about it for weeks after the dip. Not much bragging now. He's an Engineer.
I think the whole problem though is he didn't scratch up the paint before installing the dip for it to have something to hang onto. It might have stood a chance??? But then if it had peeled after scratching the paint it would now need a new paint job.
