saw this on ebay and laughed a little. they're getting more creative everyday. what.jpg look at the top "link"

interesting. I think he should have used a pintle hitch.

lol...its kinda common, in the poor redneck world, poor mans heim joint. but they used the hitch on the wrong end though.

I think I remember something along those lines on pirate a couple years ago. The 1 link rear suspension, I believe, used in a sammi buggy or something that weighs hardly much. Can't remember if they used a trailer hitch, though.

That right there, yes, WTF is the correct response.

here's some more from the ad. :shaking:

Up for auction is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 Rockcrawler it has 1983 CJ 7 Jeep axles with 456 gears, detroit lockers in the rear, lockright locker in the front,3 link rear suspension, 33 14.50 super swamper boggers, brand new weber carburetor, hydrolic steering, 6 to 1 gear reduction in the transfercase, this is lots of fun to play in just don't have time go out and play in it anymore
yeah, good idea.....poor execution. but i guess it worked

when it breaks down on the trail, all y ou gotta do is drop the rear axle and hook the trailer hitch to someones receiver and ball. no tow strap needed.

I agree with bigred, very common in tennesee, and yes it was built backwards. I've seen a bronco with 52s with that similar set up and it's a daily driver!Worked awesome on the trails.

Also bulldozer blade pivot balls gets used, Almost forgot those! There's a club in mid tn that runs deuce axels with a similar setup.
