X-Mas Hunting trip in Spartanburg, SC

Well I'm finally getting around to posting pics up. My father-inlaw and I went hunting the day after x-mas. I didn't see crap but he got a 120lbs doe with his bow. These are from us (more me than anything) dragging it out of the woods. The brown dog is his and the black dog is mine. he's the one that found the deer! enjoy!

Nice, fat young doe there, good eats! Next time you drag a doe, try putting the drag strap/rope around the neck at the base of the skull. It makes it easier to drag a limp,fresh killed deer than pulling from the rearend. With a buck w any real horns you can drag them by antlers. Bertie county has some thick brush too!, all up and down the Roanoke River. Conine island, Broadneck, Company swamp, Deveraux, My favorite hunting adventures were down there.

Yea we have a sled but forgot to bring it lol so all we had was a dog leash. It worked but dang if im not going to remember to bring the sled. Lol
