XJ blower motor switch

Been looking at several Cherokees for my daughter a vehicle. One thing I've come across is bad blower motor switches on the dash. Is this common for the Cherokees? I've seen a couple that would only work on high and others that don't want to work at all. Also, is this a fairly easy fix and what is involved? Thanks.

probably the resisistor on the one, maybe a switch on the other, maybe a bower motor. there all cheap b/c there is like 15 billion cheerokess and jeeps and since there junk and always break then there are alot of cheap parts.
