Xj coil spring

Between the brands I ran through the years, rough country, Rusty's and Rubicon express, the RE were by far the stiffest. Rusty's I thought were to soft. RC was a happy medium.

Agreed. I have had RE 3.5" coils for many years and they are stiff. I did a lot of highway and street driving without a front sway bar and felt comfortable.

I don't want a stiff spring. The xj rarely gets driven on the road and is a 4wheeling rig. I want springs that are going to flex good while still being stable

I still think the RE springs will be good for you. My front suspension always articulated well even with the craptastic short arm lift. I got around to building a homebrew antirock sway bar because the rear suspension was barely flexing with the front end doing all the moving around.
