Picked up an XJ and it has had a d44 installed in the rear. Were XJ 44's non c clip? This one is but I thought they were all c clip versions in the xj's.

To the best of my knowledge they are all Non C clip.

they are non clip. the xj 44's are supposed to be rare, but i've had 3 myself.

ok, thats good to know. I'm sure its an XJ 44 as all the perches and mounts look to be original stock parts with factory welds. I just thought it was strange that it wasn't a c clip axle. I learned something today. thanks.

I have an XJ 44 in the back of my YJ, non c-clip. It's a nice axle, in my opinion.
