XJ doors falling off

My driver door tearing itself away from the unitbody on my 91 xj at the hinges. Is this repairable or am I boned? I'll ad a pic later if its needed.

My driver door fell off the ZJ I had one day at Wally World. The door-side hinges tore loose from the body. After driving it for a few days with no door, I welded that side of the hinge back to the body. Door was a little crooked, but it still latched.

Well if you're REALLY good at welding sheet metal, or at least can focus the heat on the hinge and roll the puddle to the thinner, you can repair it.

take your fender off and it's really nice and easy to get in there with door shut and weld it back. It's not too hard to weld it back. i used some extra threaded rod along the sides for added support and sometimes spare little flat steel plates to add in too but either way, having fender off makes the job a piece of cake.

Alright thanks for the replys. I'll see if I can find someone around here with a welder to help me with it or I'll just see how much a body shop will do it for.
