Im lazy and dont feel like installing an sye. Came across this and was wondering if anyone has used something like this before. The only thing that i see is that the double cardan would be a little further away from the tcase putting strain on the bearings. That and im assuming the rearend would have to be shimmed to point at the tcase?

Not sure I'd use this on a stock wheelbase wrangler, But an XJ MJ ZJ, it might just do the trick

This is pretty much exactly what a HacknTap from Ironrock offroad is. Except you cut the shaft from the tcase and drill a hole and tap it so you can bolt the flange on the shaft so it wont move. Then you just attach the driveshaft like shown. Just did it on my XJ. You can use a front driveshaft out of an automatic XJ and it actually has the adjustable shaft so you dont have to have the exact measurement. HacknTap is $99 and the front drive shaft was $45 from the junkyard.

broke down and ordered an sye and pulled a front shaft from pull a fart
I'm by no means a mechanic and I did mine without too much issue. Well worth it IMO. I had the older kind that had to have the needle bearing pressed out, that was the one specialty tool needed. I used a ratchet strap to hold the case to my work bench for most of the bolt removal. Be careful on the RTV around that one jut out on the tail housing. Mine leaked and I had to crack it back off under the jeep and reseal. I believe I'm using the correct terms, lol.
