XJ driveshaft help

Does the driveshaft from a D35 work with the Chrysler 8.25? As far as the length is concerned that is.
2001 AW4 NP231.

It depends on if the d35 shaft came from an auto, manual, 2wd or 4wd.
Iirc the auto 4wd d35 is about an inch longer than an auto 8.25 4wd shaft.
I guess it would all depend on the amount of lift you have

Yes D35 shaft is longer. There are some actual lengths here: rear driveshaft lengths - NAXJA Forums -::- North American XJ Association

Thank you. It would seem the D35 shaft is longer by about an inch for sure. I appreciate the prompt responses.
