xj guys help!!!

i got a 92 xj and im havin trouble with the shifting it is a auto, and it dont want to shift, but whne you floor it and what not it will shift just fine , what ya rekin this is ,

a buddy of mine messed with a cable on the intake i wasnt there when he did it so im not sure witch one it was, it doesnt always do it ,after he messed with it it shifted fine

i checked the tranny fluid it aint burnt or nothin like that.
im guessin it might be a somin simple . let me know what ya think thanks!
 
Check your anti-freeze sometimes the tranny cooler will bust internally and coolant and tranny fluid will mix without you knowing and screw up the way it shifts
 
Possibly TPS or your line pressure is screwed up/too low, that's what the tv cable will control that he fawked with. If you don't know how to adjust it, don't mess with it. TPS should throw a code though? Could also be your front band saying goodbye. Pull the pan and see if there's anything that isn't ATF in it.
