Possibly TPS or your line pressure is screwed up/too low, that's what the tv cable will control that he fawked with.  If you don't know how to adjust it, don't mess with it.  TPS should throw a code though?  Could also be your front band saying goodbye.  Pull the pan and see if there's anything that isn't ATF in it.
