I picked up a '90 XJ who's previous owner says he has gone through about four ICM's in quick succession. He said it would run fine for a couple weeks and then just would not restart. He went through two modules from Advance, one from Napa, and a couple OEM's from Pull-A-Part. He said Advance tested the first one to die and confirmed it. The Jeep is dead right now. I have not messed with it yet. Any advice before I throw another module in it? I think I will install a new crank position sensor in at the same time. I just can't help but wonder if there is some kind of funky voltage spike or bad ground issue.
