I have an 00 Xj w/ 4.5 rough country lift. Im looking to add 3" or so of lift. What would you guys do?, add to my lift i have or start over with a new one? Any ideas? Thanks
Definitely start over with a long arm kit. It will be cheaper in the long run.

you can add 2" spacers up front and for the rear you can add 2" shackles (depending if you already have them) but you will need long arms for 7.5 lift. drop brackets will work but it will ride rough. S.Y.E. and driveshaft. longer brakelines. adj track bar plus a track bar bracket (stock will fail) most likely new steering due to the tires.
how big of tires are you wanting to run? 39's? that high will greatly mess up your COG
its prob. better to just get the R.E. 7.5 long arm kit. then get a SYE/shaft, and new steering.
