I have an 00 Xj w/ 4.5 rough country lift. Im looking to add 3" or so of lift. What would you guys do?, add to my lift i have or start over with a new one? Any ideas? Thanks

you can add 2" spacers up front and for the rear you can add 2" shackles (depending if you already have them) but you will need long arms for 7.5 lift. drop brackets will work but it will ride rough. S.Y.E. and driveshaft. longer brakelines. adj track bar plus a track bar bracket (stock will fail) most likely new steering due to the tires.

how big of tires are you wanting to run? 39's? that high will greatly mess up your COG

its prob. better to just get the R.E. 7.5 long arm kit. then get a SYE/shaft, and new steering.

Definitely start over with a long arm kit. It will be cheaper in the long run.

It all boils down to what size tires you want to run. LA are great and big tires are kool but the xj can wheel quite well with 33 - 35's which can be run on your lift. You just have to be creative and one with the sawzzall.

theres no reason for a cherokee to have 7.5 inchs of lift.....If looking at longarms i like the tnt system.

Thanks

Thanks for all the ideas, Im wanting to run 35's but i want as much clearance as i can get. I may just have to break out the ol sawzall.

I've got about 5 inch lift and shortarms, with 35s. Just cut it up!
