Ok so I have two front Xj dana 30's one with the stupid 2 peice vacume disco axle and one with the solid axle shaft. Problem is the one with the 2 peice has 4.10's in it and I want to keep those and am definitly not going to get them reinstalled into the other axle. Somebody mentioned to me once that you can swap the axle shafts out. Everytime I try and search for info i keep turining up info on Warns Full Floater kit not what I'm trying to find. Anyway anyone done this or know what to do? Is it as simple as pulling the old 2 peice shafts, putting in the new one peice shaft and capping off the Vacume actuator?

Thanks

Ricky,
It is pretty much that simple except you will need to have the correct inner axle seal because the disconnect inner shaft is much larger.

Search over on NAXJA.com. There have been acouple write-ups. Napa here in Charlotte has the correct seal in stock, but there are a couple to choose from so you need to pull yours apart, pop out the seal, and measure it up.

Direct from Warn on what seals to use. Started to do the same thing w/mine but the outer seal doesn't fit my alloys. I used the inner seal recommended by Warn and USA Alloy shaft seals.
