Hey guys i have a problem at the moment that i can send pics of on request. But my herokee has a 6 inch lift on her and my rear has a 2in add-a-leaf, 1in shackle, and 3in block. I dont understand why the rear wont flex... I would thung they would have some kind of drop because they arent a kit lift but for some reason they dont. Should i extend my long arms when i lift to 8.5 coils or get a bigger leaf pack or switch to coiloves in the rear

How is your shackle angle? if the shackle is straight up and down it will have a small window of movement. I think that and the aal might have something top do w i

^agreed poor shackle angle and the aal are prob the issue. I'd take the all out and build a bastard pack with some s10 or similar springs and run some shackle relocation brackets.

Thanks guys. Just trying to keep all 4 on the ground. I know 3-leggins looks badass and what not but it limits my wheelin ability.
And would 1996 dakota springs work?

agreed, shackle angle ,is main reason ,aal, not helping either,I think some guys use s10 spring packs ,I made my own shackle boxes where the stock ones are but moved the mounting spot foward and it works good.

i used a set of full sized dodge van main leafs. (they are like 1.5" longer on the rear to help with shackle angle) mixed with s10 leafs and XJ leafs. had 4.5" of lift. then add shackles. they were perfect leafs in my opinion.

check NAXJA for the dodge van leaf thread

Yeah naxja has some pretty good xj tech .I think 45degrees is the magic shackle angle at ride height but don't take my word for it im not sure and its been awhile since I messed with leafs
