My jeep takes a little longer than usual and studders once started. Not always starting on first turn over. Once started if I give it gas right away it will studder and most of the time cut out. If I give it a 10-15 seconds once started it runs fine.

Hookup a fuel pressure gauge and see if you have pressure leaking down somewhere. That's a real possibility.
I have one you can borrow anytime

What year? I have a similar problem with the check valve that keeps pressure while the Jeep is parked. There are some home made fixes to the problem but some years it only helps till the Jeep catches on fire. My 98 is one of the fire bugs and the only safe and correct solution is to change the fuel pump which contains the check valve. I'm preparing to do this repair soon to mine only because I plan to keep this one and make my daughter drive it.

Cycle the key three times to let the fuel pump pressurize when cold and then start it. If it fires off right away it's that check valve. My sisters jeep did it for 6 months and then started working normal.

Or hook up a fuel pressure guage and crank it cold with a helper and see what the initial cranking pressure is.

For the idle stumble take your IAC out and clean it with carb cleaner and re install.

92 you could put a check valve before the fuel filter but that won't work unless pressure drops quickly (check valve won't snap shut without pressure difference, reason air compressor has a decompression valve in the pressure switch)

Could be a lot of things - I'd start with troubleshooting fuel first (like Jody said). Make sure the pump relays are working right, test your rail pressure, use listening stick on injectors. Check IAC and crank sensors - they might be on their way out too. Usually throws a code for either if they cause the engine to die. Has this happened at all? If so, did it die quietly or rough?
