I am in the midst of replacing the floor pans of my 99 XJ Sport 4L and have run into a small snag. I also need to replace the seat reinforcement cross-members as well. I have been looking all over the internet and called various places local and national and no one carries them anymore. From my research they are discontinued. Does anyone know of a local fabricator who might be able to help me out? Any advice would be appreciated.

Scott.

You could knock out some OEM replicas with a sheet metal brake pretty quickly if the exact height is important, otherwise I'd go with some standard stock like mentioned above. I'd worry more about those floor pans!

If you're using square/rectangular tubing, bend up some sheet metal angle strips to join the floor pan with the seat brace. Weld one leg to the tubing and one leg to the pan, etc.. That way you won't make a tearing point like you would if you welded the thin floor pan to edge of the really stiff tubing or to cold rolled angle channel.
