xj shock question for 2" budget boost

So I've been reading up on the 2" budget boost for an xj from this link.

It seems that the up country shocks have been discontinued because I cant find them anywhere. So would you do:
yj shocks in the front and MJ shocks in the rear
rustys shocks that comes with their 2" kit

Or something else? Looking for the best bang for the buck here. This is for my sisters jeep and I'm trying to keep cost as low as I can for her.

New shocks from BDS are about $160 for the set of 4.

find out the shock lengths and go to parts store of choice and get them to match them up

find a set of jk take offs that someone is getting rid of. you will have to remove sleeves and install your bar pins but they work well

The jk deal looks to be about 60 bucks on ebay right now. I'd need the normal jk not the rubicons right since I'm looking at only 2" of lift?

Pretty sure the JK shocks are all the same length just that the Rubi ones are stiffer. I personally run the regular JK shocks on my XJ and I've been pleased with them.

How much lift do you have on your xj? It seems most people that ive read that have the JK shocks are in the 3-4" range.

Started as 2.5, settled at 2. I'm fixing to swap everything though for the metalcloak 3.5.
