XJ steering

interested in changing out my tie rod links/rods on the steering of my XJ. i know many people just get one off of a v8 ZJ. i not know much bout those, wondering if any of you guys know a cheap way, thats still works good and very strong with out spending few hundred bucks.

If all you need is drag link and tie rod, go out to a junkyard and pull them off of a 93-98 V8 ZJ. Make sure it's a 4x4 obviously. It's a direct bolt in. It is stronger and larger in diameter than stock XJ.

yeah thats what im thinking of doing. should i beef up the v8 ZJ one also??

if your close i could build you one from 1.25 solid stock. i'd just have to find out the threads on the stock ones. i could build you one for stock tie rod ends or put in heim joints. pm me if your intrested.

You could also do a WJ conversion.
