I finally got done with the head gasket on my gfs xj, i messed up the first time and had to do it all over again, my fault, but live and learn right. So now Im sure i got it right this time...cranked the jeep up, let it idle for about 10-15 mins....drained the old oil...looked a lot like chocolate milk. Put sum new oil in it. Drove it down the road about 1/2 mile. Turned around and i told her to give it some gas, we got up to about 55-60 and then the jeep started bucking or surging, we got it back home, changed the oil again and drove down the road....it did the same thing after some mild acceleration. I checked the transmission fluid and looked to be overfilled..could this be the problem? or is something not hooked up? Ill be working on it today, its right off poole road towards knightdale..anyone wanna help? will provide beer, food, or gas money.
