Full hydro, 4 link. Be sure the coil over mounts aren’t going to rip off and rock on. I think there is already enough triangulation in your upper link to just match it on the other side.

help me make the upper link mount on driver side & i’m down.
Still have some tube work up front unless we’re doing a rear radiator though

Rear radiator is a great option in an xj, esp if you don't carry passengers in the back
