This was my first attempt at cutting the flat mounting lip off an XJ fender then tucking the remaining for clearence. I choose to do this to restrengthen cut edge. The cut was made and the remaining folded and dollied under the fender well. The tucked edge was formed all the way over against the inner fender on the rear and back on the front fender until it was completely flat. This did break the paint and caused some chipping but the plan is to sand prime and bedliner the lower Jeep sides from the old trim line down. In the tight radius areas I choose not to make relief cuts and left the fender as cut. I just dollied and stretched it until folded under and tucked clean.

"btt for after pics" ?? you want a different view? I plan on doing a good bit more to the Jeep as time and money permit. I bought the Jeep after a friend of mine put a very "cheap" all over paint job. The enterier is clean and I wanted a test mule/display for my bumper line. Right now I've repaired steering box unibody damage and are trying to find a drain on the battery. Anybody got any obvious leads that are coimmon on these for costantly draining the battery? I'm going to start with the obvious with door switches and lighting but I suspect its going to be deeper than that since I pulled all the light bulbs and the problem persist. Its getting front and rear "warriorwelding" bumpers. Front being a reciever design and the rear with a reciever and our revamped swing out tire carier.
