ah ha! your the one who stole my gas tank off my boat!.....just kiddin......it will work i,d just have a fire exstinguisher handy just in case.......good luck:beer:

It will work just fine as long as you took care routing your hose. The vent on the top of boat tank caps aren't made to be turned over/rolled either, so keep that in mind.

I've seen ALOT worse.

At least yours is strapped down

If you had to ask........

You probably already know the answer!

Actually, those pics aren't of my rig. I just saw it and it got me wondering how "legit" it is and all. I'll probably just head to Tanker's and get the filler neck and everything I need to put my stock tank back into place. Thanks yall

despite some thinking its dangerous, that is a fine set up. The main points are you want to make sure it is strapped down and you have a rollover valve, both of which are easy to do.

fire extinguishers are good to have regardless, but i've never seen a tank catch on fire, its usually a carb that does.

I would def get a bigger tank than that, mine is a 15 gallon (only holds 11) and I wish I had about double that.

You do need to be careful with how the lines are run, but that should be considered with a stock or aftermarket tank and its not that hard to do.

I'm pretty sure that set up is not legal in NC, my jeep is registered in SC where almost anything is legal so I should be able to get away with running it in NC.

Here's a pic from when I was mocking mine up, been mounted that way for well over a year that way.
